I just wanted to comment again and say you saved my Google Drive. I had somehow filled my 10 terabytes up that Google gave me with music from a "shared" folder that my friend deleted, leaving ALL of the files on my drive but marked as hidden. In less than a few minutes, I completely wiped it using the command in your description. For those wondering, this DOES work but you will need to give Google some time to realize you just deleted a bunch of stuff and it may take an hour or two to show your storage rate dropping. To avoid this in the future, if you use Drive File Stream like me, SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS. If you delete a folder, say "music" and all of the files inside are marked hidden by a friend, or even yourself, it literally will not delete them and mark them as "unorganized", causing them to be there forever and no way to retrieve them or un-mark them from hidden, because the original folder is gone and the files are just floating around with Jesus somewhere. Next time, go INSIDE of the folder you are deleting and double check there are no hidden files inside. If there isn't, you are safe to delete. Thanks again <3
